I sorted out my old mags a while ago and I also have both of these and was reading through the rebuild this afternoon!
With horror I came to the picture of the clutch on P44 and read the line about the orientation of the top clutch plate. It is also in bold in the shop manual. I've just bolted up my 550F engine. I have no manual for the 550.

But I did have tucked away a clutch assy from a 550K1 and one from for a K3. Both do not seem to have the swept grooves in the top friction plate. Presume that the idea was dropped as a waste of money and 550s all have straight cut grooves.

Just realized a couple of pages are clipped .. will redo. Have some other MCM strips too I think. Most were done at the Honda Training school I believe.

What's odd about those pics is that it's a K0 YET it has the extra headlight switch on the bars that wasn't fitted except to the K1.

I's a model from Sweden but dunno why it has a UK reg plate? Reg not on DVLA register (well as a Honda)

Is that the switch on the left handlebar?
The one that doesn't seem to be there in the main colour shot looking from below the bars.
Did they use more than one bike for the shots?

Yellow must have been a trendy bike gear colour in late 60's early 70's . Note the lack of indicators (had wiring but an 'optional extra' in the UK).

Possibly a UK registration plate ..so they didn't have to drill the front guard of the Euro bike. typical taht we were probably the last country to get the 500/4 , just like the CB750K0
