Last ride of the year
« on: December 31, 2006, 12:01:16 PM »
In my very biased opinion, Lincolnshire has some of the best roads for biking in Britain.

Just taken my 750F out for a last ride befor new year, 40 mile round trip, absolutly marvellous. I can start making a list of problems to fix next year.

A bit damp, but very little traffic and no \"Blitz Boys\" on thier crotch rockets.

Up the A15 from where I live, 5 straight miles at a steady 60 - 70. On to some back roads to Market Rasen, nice curves and some slow riding through a few villages.

-- Problem 1 -- Jumps from 3rd and 4th into a false neutral, when slow riding.

From Market Rasen on to the A46 and cruise down one of my favourite bits of road. The A46 after Faldingworth Village has some long left, right, left sweeping bends, that on the F can be taken comfortably and 60mph with no gear changing.

-- Problem 2 -- Slight sway on the front end when leaning into a bend at over 50

Back home on a few more back roads.

-- Problem 3 -- Back brake beginning to bind.

Well that's it, A great ride, and only a few niggles to sort out in the new year.
Regards and Ride Safe!!
