Also look for hairline cracks on the discs, back and front, STD MOT failure, with most people replacing with Chinese ones.

Cheers, this ones had new discs front and rear, probably for the reason you gave above, it's a year 2000 with 25k miles he wants 1400 but it will have to be very good for me to give that, they are 10 a penny at present, if I'm honest it's the looks that have always made me want one, there are better bikes around such as the blade, but I've had one of them and the zx7r is an itch that needs to be scratched 😄

Ok so I'm not going to view that one after all, I just text him and said I want to hear it start from cold and all of a sudden the fan isn't kicking in and it's got a stutter til it's warm, won't bother 😄

Always liked the zx7r  but I think the zxr400 is more my size

I loved my Zxr400 Green1, painted it in team France colours, 14500 rpm redline it howled!, it was physically to small for me (I'm 6'2") but was so cheap (£900) I couldn't resist it, my advice is get one, at less than £1500 for a good one it would be rude not to 👍

I would but the Guzzi had to spend the night out side after collecting the 550.I may be able to find the room if I tidy up a bit or convince my dad that a classic Honda would really set the new decor of in the lounge.  ;D

I'm surprised there was anything more than a pile of rust and a corroded alloy lump left of the guzzi by morning!

HA ha we will find out when I come to service it.
If I only sheer a couple of bolts we will know the rain hasn't affected it.  ;D
