Looks like the porch roof above the bike has rotted away over the years loosing the bike any protection it may have had,shame really.
Wonder what the idea of the bicycle bell on the handlebars is.

I was approached by Henry Cole to assist with the making of this programme as I run the Phil Read Replica owners club and own a couple,plus a few Honda Britains.I lent them a set of handlebars to copy and a newly painted alloy tank so they could get the colours right.Most of the information they spouted out was lifted from the owners club website.
I'm sure the programme will showcase the Phil Read Replica and lift its reputation.....fingers crossed
