Hi.
Just a suggestion, you should be able to find all the help you require just by asking questions on the forum. Most of us have had problems with our 400/4's in one way or another in the past that have been resolved using the knowledge of other forum members. It's also free (well, a little donation sometime is most appreciated) so can save a lot of money in the long run.

Hi

www.good-bits.co.uk,   not london area, but 5minutes away from hassocks station on the mainline london-brighton railway.

Honda's a speciality, as well as classics / racing/ cafe builds.    in august we are doing an open workshop scheme where you bring your bike in for a quick check over and update service. but slots are getting short now.

always pleased to help,

Thanks Julie

Iv had a lot of great feedback from the forum over the past few months since iv had the bike and it has helped me out no end. It's just this last little issue I can't get right. Besides it's always nice to know there is a helping hand round the corner if you need it.

Thanks again

First port of call if it was mine would be to strobe the timing and make sure the mechanical advancer is working okay. Spitting back can be timing related and it's the easiest thing to check so start there. I assume you haven't had the cam out or anything else.

You can try Bill Bailey at Swallow motorcycles in Eastcote, Middlesex.  I've known him for 20+ years and he's old school when it comes to bikes, if he says he's going to do something he does it. 100% recommended.
