CB750 KZ. Wanted

Hi folks,
A good friend of mine here in Orkney is looking to buy a CB750 KZ, the DOHC one with the CX rear lamp and four into four exhausts.
Anyone know of a good 'un?

I do know of one that seemed clean at a glance.I think it was the 10th aniversary addition But to be honest I didn't look to close as not a bike I could stand to look at for to long 
I don't have a clue how much its worth  but I could PM his details if you want?

Yes we would like more info if it's available. A PM would be the best, then Leonard (the mate here in Orkney) can sort it direct.
We have a fantastic courier up here and they are all into bikes and cars so transport is not a problem and their prices are very fair considering distances and ferries.  They brought my early GoldWing and another 400/4 here from Hull with no drama.

I had this kz for 7 years and it gave me no problems at all.  I took it for an MOT once and just before the end of the MOT a VOSA man came in and went back over it with a fine toothed comb, glad to say he found nothing wrong. lol

Obviously an import, the U.K. models all had comstar wheels as standard, unless they were changed by yourself or a previous owner.

I know there have been verified problems associated with various models overs the years but most of them last really well if they just have proper oil changes to look after them.

Many people in past years just didn't believe it was that important but it's much cheaper than rebuilds and a properly oiled example usually gives loads of miles without problems.

I had a 900 version of that motor, a brilliant bike.

People will usually buy whatever they want, almost regardless of what others say.  I did over 30k on a new CX 500 in under 3 years without any issues, then moved to VF 750S and did 35K on that, again without any chocolate camshaft probs and lots of 2up Continental touring before we got hooked on GoldWings.  I also had a CB 750 FA which I still think was underrated by many. Oil changes were my way of protecting my investment and only thrashing any of them when they were warm. That still holds good today.  Oil is still cheaper and more convenient than a whole pile of gaskets, shells and rings.
If my pal Leonard finds the right one for him, it will be treated with respect and improved where possible.

Correct, it was an American import, the other obvious giveaway is the single disc up front.
