Tank trim/seat trim

Just been up to the local car booty....and picked up all this chrome trim for a quid...
It's just a tad bigger than the original but I reckon I could bond it on the tank and probably a seat too...
Do you think it would be passable...

No reason why not, put it as hot water as you can stand to get it round the tank curves
