A bit too far for me John.

shame about that!  the range of food there is very good, but of course, not as good as cooked in Lincolnshire !!as I had the pleasure of tasting -)))

nice ride to the meeting, met a friendly bunch from the AircooledRD forum,
after a chat and some food and drink,we rode to the Ponderosa cafe ,via Wrexham ,the views around the Horseshoe pass are stunning,
after we split up,I continued to Bala, then back via Newtown,Crossgates ,(another great biker cafe ) and to home,
total mileage 250,

now I don't worry if it rains sunday

Missed this one, went to the Raven for breakfast a few weeks back but not on the bike as the builders have been in since May building an extension on the house and the bikes have been stranded in the garage by a large scaffold blocking the door, but got the F1 out yesterday and went for a spin. At least I now have a new garage for the bikes to live in.
I will have to get up to the Ponderosa once the decorating slows down a bit, but the breakfast at the Raven is better.

Cheers

Yes John, it is British but I think that is a 're import'. Nice raffle prize, don't drink it all before you ride home

Thoughtful prize, if you run low on petrol going home you can pour it in your tank!  Please don't ride home with it stuffed in your jacket ??? ???
If it's got tits or wheels, it's hassle, if it's got both, RUN!!!

No Mike your not missing anything but lots of those bikes went to USA and then have been reimported. It makes no difference to me, I think its a stunning bike, I will never own one or ride one but I just think that and the BSA Goldstar DBD34 clubman are magnificent bikes.

The Honda car is closer to bikes than generally realised,  think it shares half it's engine with the nc700 road bikes.

Quite a few Vincent went to Oz as well, the engine designer being of that country, Phil Irving. Alot of race stuff out there now and still casting new engines as far as I know.

That bear is very thick to need a spoon for it  :) ;)
