Colonial-Clive (yindi):
Hi guys and gals found this site today for JIS screwdrivers that fit the old cross heads, no more chewed screws.

They is also an impact version that is out of stock atm. But available elsewhere. Has anyone used one of these?

JamesH:
Yes to the above and they're absolutely superb tools.

I have spent thousands on tool over the years and have found these JIS tools a rip off. Most people are shocked that I still use PH1, 2 and 3 and find they do the same job, even on the end of a torque wrench.
Even Ash had to agree with me that the PH is a very good fit.
The only time I have trouble getting a JIS machine screw out is when someone else has had a go before me.
And bloody cheap >>> http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10-x-Screwdriver-Screw-Bits-25mm-S2-Grade-Steel-1-4-inch-Various-Types-/181247177367?var=&hash=item2a332c7297:m:mKYZ1QBnqZ27KWZ-3ulcVtQ

mike the bike:
I agree Trig, I would add that a PH2 fits better with the tip ground off a tadge.
