It is a K2 phil but, it is also a bit of a bitsa with non K2 hubs. Ash will know more about these than me.

Yes it's a K2 ...Wrong hubs (K0) and has an American rear 'fender'. Nastily covered seat but suppose it has potential if you want one. Think it has pattern silencers too...seams are too large  (probably Brituro)

  yes its a k2 or bits of one ,they are bomb proof bike miles better than britt 250s at the time
 i had one brand new when i was a learner dont think i want to turn the clock back that far again lol

Oh and it's a York reg so probably bought originally from Alan  Mountain's shop, where my 750K0 came from and also my 1st 400/4

BTW there is no such model as the CB250K0 it is simply & officially  the CB250 Super Sports . Note the correct deeply valanced rear guard and oval tail light not on that eBay one. Plus look carefully at the two models different hubs .... showing the ones on the eBay one to be incorrect.

About 3 years before my start of my biking but that was light years ahead of British 250s of the era - compare that to the BSA Starfire!

In fairness to Mr Honda he was making frames with tubes a lot earlier, my 1962 CB72/77 had a tube frame, and also in fairness, pressed monocoque frames are very rigid. After all, very few cars are made with a separate chassis now, they're all pressed tin.

Yup correct also CB160, CB450 bomber all 1965 or earlier. BUT CB250 had candy paint, separate clocks, loads of chrome inc mudguards chainguard etc plus 30 BHP from a 250cc.  BTW that K2 was the last one with the 'Type 1' stamped on points cover fat cam engine. They ditched the chromed chainguardon the K2 onwards

Also the JDM I am building looks a lot different .. ours with Candy paint were referred to as 'Export' model. I still can't believe I got a pair of pristine NOS chrome tank panels in Japan for 40 quid.
