SteveD I've read a lot of good things about this set up but not any from the u/k just wondering if any one on here has experience of them?

I made my own, copying the Velleman K2543 kit (transistor ignition) I'd made before for my car. I bought the parts in an electronics shop and managed to combine the two sets (1+4 and 2+3) and squeeze it in the box in the pic. I assume Hondaman's is pretty similar. The idea is that the load is taken of the contact breakers that will now only switch the much lower control current. It's basically an electronic switch (Darlington). So no more sparking at the breaker points that now can easily live for over 50.000 kms.
