master cylinder circlip bodge
« on: February 16, 2017, 05:30:49 PM »
being a bit of a skinflint and not wanting to spend £20 odd quid on circlip pliers, i decided to improvise with some welding rod. worked a treat after soaking the cylinder in diesel overnight.

I like that,  it probably works better than proper circlip pliers because those are skinnier.   It reminds me of when I extended the handles of my pop riveter using lengths of conduit and jub clips to snap off some meaty 3/16" rivets.
Where's that 10mm socket got to?
