My Honda CB750 - Mark Paris
« on: February 28, 2017, 11:09:46 PM »
Hello all,
I've been pondering for some time as to whether or not I could justify spending £65 on the paperback book mentioned above. Well I did, and it turned up yesterday, delivered to a neighbour courtesy of NPD.
As you can see the bozo who dropped it off dropped it corner first into a puddle beforehand. The consequence is that the very good quality paper just hovered up the moisture resulting in the mess below. Still readable (and a good read it looks too) but this really gets my goat and I will be claiming a replacement book from LuLu or seeking compensation from the white van fleet of muppets that delivered it.
Bring on the drones....
1974 Honda XL250 K0 - Silver - owned for 32 years. Not running at the moment
1972 Honda CB750 K2 - Now candy apple red - Ex USA, a DK special - needs a lot more work than I thought - very quickly becoming a DS special...

My pet hate too;  people that don't do their jobs properly,  which makes more work for others.
I've got a few in work.  Like the twat that replaced a 3 phase wash pump and couldn't be bothered bolting it down so it was just 'secured' by the jubilee clip on the hose.  Didn't last long before the jub clip gave up and there was a major leak.  Grrrrrrrrr.

Hope you get another book courtesy of the muppet involved.
Where's that 10mm socket got to?

Shame. I know it's a great book. Also shame he has not done one covering the other fours.
Also if anyone is interested: He is offering a cheap (ish) reconditioned Hondaman electronic ignition unit to #@%$ Brits only (on the US site). I'm sure you can contact him on his site mentioned above.

Do you have a link for the ignition, if it is still available?
I don't know my way around the US site and know where to look.

Thanks for posting this. I have been in touch with HondaMan and taken him up on his offer so will see how I get on with the ignition when it arrives.
