Big end bearing - metal selection table
« on: April 23, 2017, 05:12:52 PM »
I've never really noticed before because I always measure my crank pins and never use standard rods but,
In the table the marking is shown as 1-2-3 but in the list downwards showing the oil clearance and shell colour the pins are 3-4-5.
Am I missing something?
I took the shell off my racing snail thinking it would make him faster.
It just made him more sluggish.

It's just how Honda marked the rods and crank to cross reference the shell size for that particular crank pin and rod combination. It could have bee ABC /XYZ or whatever they just chose that combination.
