Yes you can, that's what Bryan was saying, but the but nut would end up on the wrong side. If you use a piece of bar to tap the pivot out, sort the grease nipples, the n use the pivot to tap the bar out, you can put it back the right way round.

Ah, now I get what he meant, stupid me.  ::)

I see the nipple fits many different Hondas and is available from the US, not that dear so no duty hassles etc. I take Bryan's point about a hollow drift (I could always drill a suitable blind hole in something), how hard is it to get them out without snapping them or leaving something behind though?

Just did mine at the weekend.
Pulled out easily enough gripped wit a pair of pliers, then knocked the new ones home using a small 6mm socket from a small 1/4 drive set.
Nipples came from dss

DSS had none (Coz Peter bought them all) but I managed to order a pair online from Fowlers, never tried them before, but it saves the stupid delivery charge & wait from USA.

Its never been a problem getting the old ones out but i have seen a lot damaged on re fitting as a lot of sockets get small too soon and peen over the ball in the outside if you see what i mean.  Don't worry me just let me know if you want a modded one as i only do them when neded

Mission successful! Old nipples pulled out with mole grips, new ones tapped in using a deep 7mm socket. Once I started pumping grease in I could hear things going on inside the swinging arm.

I was surprised how much back pressure there was once it was full, but I think the bushes and pin may be new, there is zero play.

At least now I can give it a squirt every 1000 miles or so and avoid uneccesarily wearing the bushes out. Yet agin, thanks for all your help. :)
