Another Ebay Scam?
« on: April 06, 2017, 12:20:59 PM »
Have seen a few of these lately - really low for quick sale in the text of the advert and email the seller - £2,400 for quick sale? Why wouldn't you! Are they after your email?
What do you think?
Phil

I should imagine that they are after your Paypal details.
Never pay a deposit by Paypal. If you buy something then always turn up in person and pay by bank transfer once youre happy with the bike. Its much safer.

Sorry Roy - another senior moment!

I think this will either go crazy in the last day, or the auction will be pulled or bid on by a friend to save it being given away. He has started the auction way too low. I think it will be pulled as "no longer available" on the last day.

I've seen a few like this with low 'for quick sale' figures - and they are always 'email seller' - something suspicious
