New relay on its way..   
I did have a spare but that was shot....came on but no blinking...
Out of curiosity what is the third terminal for on the genuine relay
The oneI ordered nd my crap spare were just 2 terminal

The original had an earth connection,  the newer  2 pin ones don't need one.
Where's that 10mm socket got to?

I replaced my indicator bulbs and stop/tail with LED's and got a new LED indicator relay, and also replaced my headlight bulb with a Philips Eco H4. Total cost £15. That dramatically decreases the load on the alternator which cured my charging blues once and for all.
CB550K3, CB550K1, Yamaha Midnight Star, and CA77 in 2473 pieces (at the last count)
