Hi, can anyone tell me the dimensions that the front number plate should be for a CB500/Four K1 1972, also are the fixing brackets available anywhere or do I need to make my own?

Hi - my 500 K0 was fitted with a front number plate when bought new in the UK in late '72 (delivered January '73). I'd be happy to send you any photos and dimensions of the original front plate (which I still have) if it might help? Cheers.

Hi, I'd be interested in those dimensions, as I'd like to get silver, or white, on black front number plate for my 1973, K2

I think a guy called DaveM in York had some steel backing plates made and was selling on eBay (davegeomat)... I will try and find the link. failing that I do have his 'phone number somewhere. Not sure about the brackets though...there is someone in Thailand who sell them but unsure how they compare to originals.
