From an engineering point of view re "d " washers why would changing the bolt diameter stop the top yoke breaking??the stress is in the ally casting and doesn't change by bolt size surely?
Maybe this is a UK bike thing? Every original US import K5/6 that I've had in does have the D spacer...?

Microfiche must be wrong Trigger. I never believe what's in the parts book / microfiche
