Production figures? as image, figures out of Haynes (Great Bike series CB750) Nigel's figures starting at 20****  seem correct.
My concern is the produced K2 numbers of 63,500?...as Nigel's bike is 74,937 (frame No. 2074937) I have assumed that numbering would start from 000001? Is there a correct Honda list of produced bikes?

Alan

The figure 63.500 is incorrect as the UK units carried on until 1975, though I have seen UK Unit VINs starting with 210  ;)

I'm the other 'lurking' bomber owner .

Maybe we should start a separate bomber thread?

Lovely Bomber James.....I (of course) like most of the Honda's from this era..........never contemplated a CB450 personally, but there is just something about this CB450 which looks 'right'. Maybe it's that first model which steps up from the gorgeous 250/ 305 twins to a bigger bike (engine capacity and cycle parts) which makes this one so attractive. In particular, I love the chrome panels on the tank and the saddle, and the side panels, and the clocks, and the exhausts.....you get my drift !

My Sister in Law bought a new Honda CRX car about 1990 and I opened the bonnet and thought 'Wow' because everything just looked 'right' and in the right place and configuration. Perfect. And I think the Bomber is also in that league.

I think you are right to keep it exactly as it is (I would have to polish and preen it) and I hope you will post some more photos of it in the future.......on it's days out. Just ferking beautiful !
Now: 2008 CB1300S, CB750K4, 1970 Bonneville. Various other 1960's 650 Triumph T120's/ TR6's/ TR6C's (all in bits...many, many bits unfortunately). Previous: 2007 CB600FA, 1976 CB500 Four. BMW F800ST. GS750E. ZZR1100. CB1300 (2). ZXR1200S. VFR800. CB750 Nighthawk. CX500. XS500 Yam. Suzuki GT500. BSA A10. Various Lambrettas. Zundapp Bella (honest).

Ashimoto, James and MCTID,  Trigger, (never knew a video existed on my Bomber!!)😳👍
My apologies for not thanking you all for your Bomber contribution - still looking for an earlyish 750 and have been somewhat distracted. Hard work finding a decent one!
James, you have lovely Bomber, fancy we try to get a couple more together meeting halfway? (I live in Ringwood).  I'm running a Jap bike day at Sammy Millers, New Forest on the 2 June 2018 and you and all of you guys are most welcome to join in. Some really lovely Jap stuff on the day, which is now in it's 4th year. Around 60 - 80 bikes attend and the awards are sponsored by the VJMC.
The final tale of that K2 I was looking at was that it turned out to have an earlier K2 engine in it. It was the wrong engine for it's year.
Now, back to trying to find the 'right' 750....🤔
  Nige.

Hi Nige. Definitely up for meeting with the Bombers in 2018. Yours looks stunning. I'll be in touch next week re. my K2. It's pretty much there now. James.

Didn't know you're a Bomber bloke, although I remember you telling me you had many, many bikes.
  It is addictive I agree...🤔

Probably best I don't disclose how many on a public forum Nige. Let's just say a few. Have a '68 CL450 as well. Like the 450 twins a lot..

Here is Nigel and his lovely Bomber again, with Trigger. This was the day after we all met up at Sammy Millers for the classic Jap bike day in 2015. [ Guests cannot view attachments ]

Was it yourself that had a 450 flat tracker too? Loved that...
One day I'll have the time to restore it, not just talk and dream....

Hi Nigel
Good to hear from you again,  it's been a while.  June 2nd is in my diary.
Where's that 10mm socket got to?

Mike!
Great to hear from you and hope your trusty 750 is still going strong! I have been out of it for a while, 750 less, the K0 had to go sadly.. but have had a decent K3 over the last year now anyway. She's a happy bike and chats to the 450's in the garage - Er, along with the Truimph 650's. No overhead cams to found on those, although i'm pushing my luck on this forum now indeed!!😉
Very good to hear from you and really look forward to meeting you and (your friends?) again in June!
Happy memories Julie (love the photos - oooozing with pride me!) and love reading your posts and love your dry wit dealing with these hairy bikers! 😊
I hope you could consider coming on down again with Trig? I'm sure we'll put something on as well as the the Sammy Jap day also. A good Forest run the next day and breaking out of it's boundaries and into a pub? Surely You both can't refuse that!🍺🍾
James, understood, Mum's the word.. Love the CL 450 but saving up for the bigger bike!😉
  Nige.

I'm sure we will try to get down there Nigel. It was a great day out.
