What's this bit??

What's the electrical component that is just behind the headlight and below the speedo? It's mounted on the top of the left fork leg.
You might be able to see it in this pic. Thanks.

Can't actually see what you're referring to, but it is probably a turn signal buzzer, if it is it will have 2 wires connected to it, and many owners disconnect them!

Really? There is no buzzing when the indicators  are on.

It does have wires connected to it that go into the back of the headlight.

Honda requested dealers to disconnect them at PDI as it was thought that the noise was similar to pelican crossings and might confuse the blind. We all thought it was different and asked the purchasers if they wanted it or not

I disconnected and removed mine within days of buying my F1 in 76, It's still floating around in the garage somewhere.
