Thanks for that, the stickers look great but the swing arm one has different wording. Im not normally fussed about minor details but as I have the original decal it may as well be copied exactly... I’ll take a photo.

Piki (Diego) is brilliant. Very accommodating and does an excellent job. There are not many weeks go by that I'm not asking him for some decal or another for these old Honda's.

The swinging arm sticker I bought from eBay was a genuine Honda one in a Honda bag. The seller was a monkey bike specialist, can’t remember the name, but it was the same part number.

Took a few ancillaries down to my local powder coating shop on Monday (LSN Castleford). The frame will be touched up and kept as original as possible but these parts would take a load of cleaning, prepping and painting and i dont really have the facilities or the patience.

Collected them today

The finish is great, and durable too as this will be a rider and will get wet from time to time....

Managed to get a bit of time on the bike this weekend. Spent a few hours degreasing the engine, a messy job when its got 44 years of grime on it.. anyway its looking a lot cleaner now.. Thought i better have a quick look inside befor I paint it. To be honest I hoped and expected it to be ok, looks pretty good in there to me. It did run when i bought it but i had no idea what state it was in. I’ll get my fibre optic camera in it when i get chance but quite happy at the moment. Hopefully it’ll be ready for paint next weekend.

Looks good in the rocker box, I would be temped to clean the main oil gallery and remove the cam and towers, to check the oil jets are clear. While the jets are out blow out with air line  ;)

Cleaned up and re-finished the rocker cover too.

Next its engine check, paint and refit to frame
