Still loving it
« on: September 24, 2017, 09:20:09 PM »
What a lovely day for a ride ,well darn souf anyway.
I just love riding this bike just short of 500 miles now so dumped the oil after todays 85 mile ride.
Stopped in Rye for an ice cream and a chat with other like minded two wheelers  out in droves.
Hope i don't have to wait until the Spring to get her out again. :)

;) yes these bikes are awesome for just riding and seeing a bit of the county side not just a blur like on sports bikes (not that i got anything against that but been there done it and survived too tell the tale lol) they just go on and on for miles with out missing a beat, the other week i nearly blew my wad on a ariel square four almost 9 grand on a bit of basket case nostalgia .then i woke up and realized i already have six of the best four cylinder bikes ever made, almost zero prepping just add fuel and away you go. last year was first time i parked bikes up over the winter from november to march and a very long winter it was

That's Wales for you - rainy old dump that it is.  I know,  I live here and work in Gloucestershire.   The Englanders that moan about the rain don't realise they're just getting Wales' leftovers.
Where's that 10mm socket got to?

Here, here on the loving it front. If last Christmas Day is anything to go by (mild, almost warm and dry) there'll be plenty of salt-free riding time in the months ahead.... enjoy!

happy days. I'm also making the most of the weather - commute to work across the Chilterns this morning was a definite win.
