Error message when starting post with quote - STEVE??

I am ocasionally getting an error message saying the "body of the message of the post is empty" when I have started a post with a quote from a previous comment. Re trying does not help. Any ideas ??

Very difficult to track a bug that I can't replicate (eg this worked OK)

If you say that it is intermittent, then I suspect it might be more to do with your setup and/or internet link than the forum software, which has been stable for many years (some would call it "old fashioned" ...)

I'm Admin/moderator on another club forum and have seen this problem.

Dunno if this is the case now, but I've seen some folk here use the "quote" feature and type their reply message in the quote box, this would cause this problem.
