That's pretty impressive; wish I could do that. My first bike in 1971 the CB175 and judging by the colour of your pre-refurbished forks, mine was the same colour. I had the rack too. If my memory serves me right it would rev to 10,500. I was initially a bit scared to do it because I expected it to cause itself some serious harm, but the little thing was bomb proof.

Looking good Rich,  book the date for Ardingly and we can turn up to see your next award  :)

It was a bit like the SOHC southern chapter meeting last year. For anyone else looking in, its a good day out with some nice bike to see.

That's a well turned out restoration.   Well done.
Where's that 10mm socket got to?

Cheers Guys
Oh thanks to menno for the paint and Piki for a complete and perfect decal/sticker set.
Silencers on the way from another member as well.
See you at Ardingly. Hope to take both bikes somehow.

That's looking good. I wanted one of these when I started riding but couldn't afford one. Bought a 1966 CB160 instead, graduated to a CB200 three years later via a Matchless 250CSR!
I have just finished packing the CB250RSA paintwork and going off to Menno tomorrow, Piki is making me a full set of decals. Hopefully they will be as good as yours.
Keep the restoration photos coming.

Thanks, I'll give Ardingly a visit, Kempton has become a bit stale lately and a change is as good as a rest as they say!
