Pete,
Please keep me informed with that K1.
I will try and dig it out over the next few weeks
Its an original survivor  I bought at great expense all the NOS honda parts to restore it but just could not bring myself to do it they are only original once , I prefer restoring basket cases which have no choice I had it on the road for a couple of years and it has been off the road for a couple since

Well there is never any discount if you buy thousands of pounds of spares in one hit, so IMHO I very much doubt he will give any discount on the  mainly imported bikes he is now selling.

I don’t think that DS will negotiate prices. A friend of mine asked this question earlier in the year in respect of a CB350 that he was interested in and was told no very quickly.

I do wonder however whether there might be opportunity to buy any parts to restore the bike at a discount?

Hmmm I would like to think so but don't hold your breath  ;) ...even genuine motorcycle trade people have to jump through hoops to get a discount trade account. I once bought £2k's worth of new parts in one hit and asked for free delivery and not a chance. Then I got a call that the package was too big and they were having to sent it in two shipments and that I would have to pay the postage twice  :(  Having said that, the order contained a set of Genuine HM300's @ £525 the set..so what goes around comes around.

I had an editor of a certain bike mag (neibour) ask for me as he had just done a 4 page article on the museum at DS and he was offered 5% on certain parts if needed, to say he was a bit miffed after all the free press he gave is an understatement!!

Uli this bike looks nice and original to me apart from the drop bars it even appears to have the original front tyre.
I would buy it myself as I love these bikes but I don't get the time to play with what iv got already.
