Uli this bike looks nice and original to me apart from the drop bars it even appears to have the original front tyre.
I would buy it myself as I love these bikes but I don't get the time to play with what iv got already.

I think that DS bikes are generally better than some importers and his prices realistic. Don't expect to haggle. There is an explanation of what to expect for OTR and "as seen" on the site. Love the way that 4 strokes get a 3 month limited warranty and 2 strokes 1 month! Once got a discount by saying that it was cheaper to buy some bits from CMS and his prices had got out of line because of currency shifts. But his reputation is high for backup and service from the guys there.
Wish I'd seen that green 500K0 Ash as it may have caught me at a weak moment.

Thanks for the link. Looks even better than the one from DS.
Anyway, would be near to € 5.000,00 incl. shipping to Germany. A bit high for buying that one "blind".
Looking more for a project bike.

cheers, Uli

I would like to put in a couple of words in this topic .

I have bought quite a few bikes From David Silver lately and he is very nice to deal with . I ask for a discount and some times I get it and sometimes we do manage to arrange a price . Lets face it he does know the market . Also in my opinion as already mentioned his bike prices I think are more realistic than other sellers .

Also as for for after sales they can be very reliable in my opinion from return of parts ,  to even help getting an original lost title.

You  sometimes mention that he does not offer free shipping on parts ,  that is true but at least normally it is a fixed price. Also imagine for us abroad the shipping cost is much more expensive !!

Uli should you go ahead and be interested in a particular bike , just ask them for more detailed pictures and any history that they have about it and I am sure that they will fully co operate and help in any way possible.

The above is only my personal opinion from the experience I have from dealing with them.
