The other two bikes in the last pic with the 550 are also up for sale:
Yamaha RD350 YPVS is at £5900
Suzuki RG500 Walter Wolf Replica is at £25000
So that's £36000 towards the house. No idea if the other two are fair prices....anyone here?

Its obviously not right does he think someone is going to buy, pay and have it delivered unseen. With no comeback. Or is something else going on.

What I can't understand is the three bikes are up there again for sale and no record of the  previous listings if you look in his items for sale that have finished? What's that all about?  If anyone is seriously interested in buying it  I could go check it out...I guess there's  not going to be anyone though.

Have mailed the seller and wanted to view the bikes last week, when I was in Hull but, a number of massages and no replies  :o

Tell us more about these massages - does Julie know?

Without wishing to libel anyone, it was strange how the RG went up stratospherically in an hour , (£11k to £23k) with 9 days to go - who bids like that? If I were going to bid that sort of dosh I would keep my powder dry and wait till the last minute.

Edit: rather than start another thread on insane eBay listings, I'll just leave this here:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TRIUMPH-500-UNIT-CRANKSHAFT-1969-ONWARDS-FOR-RESTORATION/222790797859

In what way, shape or form is this useable other than as a doorstop? It's fecking broken!!!! I have an old window in kit form somewhere, obviously restorable, I must list it, also a cremated cat, may require specialist vetinary attention.

Isn't that a bolt together crank for the Triumph? If you've got one broken the other end it may be of interest,  or the central flywheel could be used.

Yes, the Triumph cranks are bolted together using fitted bolts and you can’t grind the crankpins without removing them from the flywheel and bolting back together as a pair.

True and not so true, they are bolted together, and yes you can regrind the big ends with the crank bolted up. And I would certainly give him a fiver for that crank.

Winning bid:

t***r(308)   £5,600.00   25 Jan 2018 at 5:49:16PM GMT

Who do we know that begins with t and ends with r - surely not?  :o

The Walter Wolf RG500 made £25,800, and £6,700 for the RD. I think he has enough to buy a house in Hull by now :)
