I was lucky enough to own a Triumph Spitfire and real rust came as original equipment. It was so realistic it even had some holes mixed into it around the sill and wheel arch areas!

Why? I spend a fair portion of my life trying to deal with the I'll effects of corrosion or prevent it. Crazy world we live in. Goes with spray on mud for 4x4 owners. Our 1960 landrover gets pasted in horse manure every time it pulls the muckspreader round the field.
Got a 500/4 with rust and a sidecar and loadsa bits. nice and original and been round the clock

It might come in handy if you have a USA or Japanese model and are trying to convert it to UK spec.... :o
