Rear sprocket tab washers

On rebuilding my back wheel I was fitting the new rear sprocket, according to the Haynes manual there are 2 double tab washers holding the 4 sprocket nuts. The Honda parts book does not show these, and I cant find them anywhere, I was going to fit 4 nylocs but would far prefer locking tabs, does anyone know what ones are the same and where to get them.

I guess you are talking about the 400/4. Yes strange! The parts manual lists the nuts as Nut, Hex but the diagram shows flanged. I have just checked mine and the nuts are flanged with no tab washers. I don't imagine tab washers would be great with flanged nuts. Having said that the tab washers in the Haynes manual do ring a bell from the distant past.

I think they all had a pair of tab washers from new, plus a dab of yellow paint on each nut.
My F2 did originally but would they have lasted  - after many years and multiple sprocket changes?

Maybe Silver Spares can get them.

I think tab washers were only used on the 350f bikes

As I said, had them on my 1978 400-4.
Maybe Mr Honda deleted them later on,  if it saved money?
In my case, I suspect they got binned when the first new chain and sprocket kit was fitted !

I used stainless nyloc nuts on my restored bike plus that sprocket guard/shield secured with screws and domed nuts for the full effect.
