Source for Cam Chain Tensioner Spring at resonable Price
« on: February 11, 2018, 07:09:37 PM »
Anybody know of a source for a 750 cam chain tensioner spring at a decent price - CMSL have them but at about 35 euro's inc postage.
Surely, its a standard spring and when you know the spec should be able to source it from a general spring specialist?
Current Bikes:-
Honda CB750K2 (1975)
Honda CB500K2 (12/1972)
Honda CR750 Replica (1972)
Honda CB350K0 (1969)
Kawasaki ZZR1100D3 (1995)
Kawasaki ZZR250 (1990) Project (Going on eBay ASAP)

I prefer the manual adjuster conversion, the spring only sets the initial tension, then its locked up with the pinch bolt anyway.

1972 CB750K2 hot rod. Sold
and an E-Type Jaguar that considers itself worthy of all my spare cash. Sold

Have seen the manual ones but preferred to keep standard Pete - but if the spring is weak it wont apply enough pressure before nipping up the bolt
