Reading the full description they are a universal type fit, not really designed for our specific models. I can't imagine they're very good at that price and need modifying. You pay yr money you take yr choice.  ;)

Yeah I suspect they will be a poor fit.. see a lot of nice bikes let down by cheap Ebay seats. I took my base to an upholsterer and they did a full leather seat in my design for £120 which didnt seem to bad.

I think you're right on the fit lads, just hoped someone may have taken the plunge before me. Its one of them "in future" ideas I'm having.

Thats the best way forward... you can buy a new metal seat base for 40 quid and have a custom seat built onto that... keep your old seat as a spare.

My CB400f seat base is too long for my brat project, I have two bases so cut 3 inches out of the end .. hopefully looks ok when done!!

I bought a brown one for a brat style cb350 I`m building. Quite impressed with it for the money but definitely not a standard fit.

I would love to know where you can get a metal seat base for that price... The 4into1 repro seat prices are ok but the freight to Aussie is the killer.. and my seat base is completely stuffed...
I wonder if they are the same ones as on DSS site?
