400/4 Frame Ground points
« on: April 01, 2018, 07:26:43 AM »
Hi all,
Finally assembling my basket case 400/4.
I had the frame powder coated but now need to know where to remove the powder coating from to ensure all electrical components are grounded properly.
Does anyone have a list of the locations or a diagram would be even better?
Also had the airbox/ electrical mount assembly powder coated are there points here that need to be cleaned back as well?
TIA
Adrian

The right rear engine mount is the main negative connection to everything.   Clean off the powdwecoating where the engine plate bolts to.  Also around the 12mm hole where the rear engine bolt goes.
There's another earthing point under the tool tray.  Can't think of any more but when you fit the loom,  more earthing points may become apparent.
Where's that 10mm socket got to?
