Handlebar grips - glued on or pushed on?
« on: February 26, 2018, 10:54:35 AM »
Just replacing mine, one is glued on, the other just pushed on?

Should they be glued?

Use Honda handgrip cement. Helps lubricate the ‘push on’ and then sets. DSS sell it. Works a treat.

Failed mot because hand grip turned and the tester explained that the grip could come off and cause an accident! The fact I have bar end mirrors and this was an impossibility didn't change his perspective.....

I just push mine on, in the olden days I also inserted a pencil at the front to ensure a good grip for long distance riding.

Cheers
