Side panels
« on: March 12, 2018, 08:42:58 PM »
Hello.
I see there are a few suppliers of pattern replica side panels.
Does anyone know which are the best?
My bike is a 750K1. It has a good pair of original panels.
But some Buffoon has filled the badge recess with filler & sprayed over them.
Sean.

LPM Mouldings make the best pattern panels in my opinion. Far superior to the original.

Can't you try carefully Dremeling away the filler and use your originals?

This and a bit of heat normally softens the filler.

Thank you for your speedy response. I was thinking of going the Dremel route.
But the IPM panels are so inexpensive especially as they are superior to the originals. I'd be a fool not to use IPM.
You guys are going to make this project Sooo much easier.
Thanks again.
Sean.

Good tip about LPM.
Bought a pair of panels this lunch time. The received a text 2 hours later. Saying my panels are in the post!
If their parts are as good as their service. I'll be well pleased.
