Been a little quiet on the forum due to DIY, new grandaughter and finishing the CR - but fired the CR up Thursday night on the 6th kick! Which is amazing based on its on standard settings and full advance on the Boyer ignition. (don't want to set the ignition at 4000 rpm as per Boyer instructions until loosened of a bit - Triggers advice taken!). So pleased with engine response as per video. Just bits to do then MOT for registration.
Hopefully the Youtube link thingy works OK

Blimey James, the lengths you would go to astound me. You would also need at least 4 discs out of your spine and probably even more after you have ridden it 😄😄😄😄

Thanks guys - I am chuffed. I just need to cure a petrol leak from the replica petrol tap (from behind the lever seal), engine.oil tank breathers/catch tanks and then MOT for registration - then might get a few miles on the clock this summer.
Just not happy with left hand side of fairing that is pushed out further than I wanted due to the narrower race alternator (the fairing is made for a total loss type left hand cover) but when building a race replica to be used on the road, there will always be compromise.
I am particularly pleased withe exhaust note with the modified K0 end baffles which just knock the edge off the noise but retain the tone (I think)
Need to fit a most discreet usable mirror as well.
