Vin number
« on: April 10, 2018, 08:58:21 PM »
The bike I’m restoring at the moment, cb250k3 1971, only has a stamped in chassis number on the nearside of the head stock.

Did these bikes also have a plate attached to the offside of the headstock? If so what info was on that plate and where can I source one?

Thanks

Hi trigger, think the 17 digit vin came in early 80s. But seen a few US 350s with a plate on offside of head. Just wondering if the uk 250s had them and what info was on them.

No VIN plates on Hondas in the UK in 1971, only stamped VIN numbers to the headstock  ;)
