1972 Album Cover
« on: April 13, 2018, 12:38:00 AM »
Hard to tell if this was a UK bike as tell tale rear lamp has been cut from the image (oval shape if UK). Flattish bars though,so must have been changed to UK K2 type spec.

I wonder if it was a European example. You must be 'loved-up' Pete as I expected a slightly more  risqué response from you  ;D ;D

He're another classic to comment on:-

Ooh! She'll catch a death of a cold like that. Needs thigh high boots to make sure she doesn't burn her leg on the engine  ;)

On a technical note though, what is that thing fitted to the mudguard that the speedo cable is going to? Not seen one of those before.

Looks like a conversion gearbox to convert the speedo reading from kph to mph or vice versa.
If it's got tits or wheels, it's hassle, if it's got both, RUN!!!

Thats a German K2 and  a German girl (Believe me, I can see that, in any case def. not an UK girl...).
So no need to convert anything.

Part of the early Honda supercharger development :)
Used front wheel revolutions to drive a small compressor...
