Looks like a conversion gearbox to convert the speedo reading from kph to mph or vice versa.

Part of the early Honda supercharger development :)
Used front wheel revolutions to drive a small compressor...

Thats a German K2 and  a German girl (Believe me, I can see that, in any case def. not an UK girl...).
So no need to convert anything.
How can you tell it’s a German girl Uli?, those aren’t Jack boots are they ??
