Wheel bearing retainer removal

This worked quite well...I used an adjustable angle grinder spanner tapped into the cut out sections on the retainer to remove it, after drilling out the stakes. Worth a go if you have one lying around!

Or if you haven't got one of those. I use a couple of bolts or suchlike that fit the holes fastened in the vice and turn the wheel to undo. Remember to drill out the centre punch marks or you will rip out the threads.  :) ;)
