Hello everyone,

I have a CB750 K7, I have been restoring it for the last new in my shed. When I bought the bike I was told that it was running and apart from the handle bars everything else was original. Well I felt a mug not to long into it.
Firstly found that the frame had been modified, then when I stripped the engine I found that someone had welded the lower and upper crankcase together. Also the wiring loom was,, well let’s say not quite right.
So anyway I am finally getting to the end. Electrics have been totally re-wired and are working just moving onto the seat and bodywork.
Cheers all
Jon

Welcome to the mad world of the SOHC.
I have done a load of crank cases that have been welded together, nearly all still had the broken bits inside, grinding through the engine and destroying every moving part.
