Pressed Number Plate Suppliers
« on: June 14, 2018, 05:27:49 PM »
Evening all,
I guess this has been asked many times before but I shall ask again. I am after a yellow 9" x 7" (ish) pressed number plate for my 1975 400/4. Who is the most reasonable supplier these days, I would prefer a supplier with an order online website.

Cheers :D

Thanks Julie, but they all seem all to have a black border and I couldn't find a 9x7.

I think that's who I used.

I don't really agree with the black and silver plates rolling over with the 40 year exemption.
If it was registered with a yellow plate I think it should stay with a yellow plate.
And that's coming from someone that prefers the black plates.
Current bikes
Honda CB750k1 Valley Green Metallic
Honda CB750k1 Candy Gold
Honda CB550k Candy Jade Green
Honda CG125
Aprilia Pegaso 650
Moto guzzi 1200 sport
Kawasaki EX650R (Mine until dave pays for it)
Kawasaki ZXR400 J

People change allsorts of things on bikes so why not the number plate if they prefer to. They nearly all started out as stock bikes when they were first registered does that mean they should all remain stock. To me the plate is no different to any other part of the bike, and mine are on yellow plates.
