Hi this is what I am trying to do I have a 650sc 1982 engine SOHC with no carbs or ignition, I am going to use carbs of a CB650z and points ignition of a 1983 engine. The uinit is to go into a 1982 chopped cb750 frame using front forks  and wheel off a f1. The rear wheel is disc braked wire spoked and is off an early cb650, I am not sure what, but I have a brake caliper and disc that fit the disc seems to be larger than the f1 front disc. I have some alternative choices in a   500vt front end complete, a 500cx front end complete a comstar rear wheel (disc) I think its of a 750.
Bits I am struggling to find are exhaust headers any condition as I only want the first 6-8 inches and I will fabricate the rest.
This chop iis being built from parts obtained on Ebay and not from a complete bike.
Every thing looks straight forward except setting the engine up I woild be grateful for any comments.

thanks sweep

If you're not fussed about the silencers, your best bet for 650 headers is a breakers.  They probably just toss the rusty ones in a skip.
