It's been a while, but back and have a Q
« on: June 22, 2018, 03:03:42 PM »
Hello all, not been on here for a while, been away working a lot both on mainland and overseas. Family life and all that, built another bike inbetween kids at school and work etc. So it's time to resurrect my project cb750. Can't remember where I got to, but will have to go through my inventory of parts and run through the bike again of what's left to do. The one thing which has me thinking over the last 12 plus months is my carbs, PD series for k7, gonna junk these for early k1,2,3 series carbs and fit them onto my bike, the question I have do I need to replace the inlet rubbers to early type? And also if someone has done this is there anything else I need to swap over?.

Thanks

Yes you will need the earlier type inlet rubbers, and the ones from airbox to carbs, other than that it's a straight swap.

If it's got tits or wheels, it's hassle, if it's got both, RUN!!!
