Strange that they never filmed any of our bikes, just kept them out of the shot  :o

Why would they film our bikes when they were in the overflow car park and only a 250u and goldwings in the SOHC section  ;D

Don't let the distance put you off.
180 miles each way for us. We meet up with petergreen about 50 miles from home and an hour into our journey.
So far so good close too but no breakdowns.
This year My 750 started running like crap at about 4000rpm with around 200 miles still left to go.
My dad on my 550 started having issues with still around 250 miles left to cover. The bike stopped running less then a mile from home on the return journey.
I should have checked the bikes over first but was too busy.  ::)
The 550 was an easy fix the plugs were blacker then black. I haven't looked at the 750 yet but I know the points are pitted so I guess there to blame.
