I'm following this with great interest as last year my insurance with Carol Nash went through the roof so I switched to Peter James which still cost me £326  for my CB750F1 an my 650 Deauville (W reg), the interesting thing was that the 750 did not build up any no claims bonus. So I must try harder this year, maybe split the insurance instead of lumping them together.

Cheers

I can only think it's where you guys live.
Just renewed 4 bikes with Peter James including 2 sohc's and a 40s Harley £168 fully comp legal expenses etc.

Added my new 750 K2 for £53 last week so that's 5 bikes at a little over £200.

location, location, location???

I can walk 200 feet to scrump a fresh cauliflower out of the field or i can drive 6 miles to Tesco to buy one thats 2 weeks old. When I'm out across the fields with the dogs, I  can get enough fresh supplies to last the week. They don't know what they're missing do they Si ;D ;D

Finally got it sorted with Hastings as a renewal of last year for my modern and four for 180

Weird thing is one guy one day said they could no longer insure my four but called again next day and said it was a 71 CB500 and that magically was fine!!!!!!

£105 for my 2016 Yam Tracer so adding the four was 75 which was ok

I did also find a good breakdown deal with AutoAid Breakdown who do a policy that also covers home start for me and my wife on any vehicle including our cars and bikes for £48

Last year I was out across the fields with the dogs and the corn on the cob was ready, so I thought, I will have a couple of them. Took them home and cooked them and I said to Trig, that's not right, they are as hard as bullets but I knew they are definitely ripe as the farmer was harvesting the other side of the field. As they didn't seem quite right, we didn't eat them.I was telling a local old boy about it and he said it was not 'corn on the cob' for humans to eat, it was Maize that had loads if different chemicals / nutrients / hormones etc grown into them as it was for animal feed!!!. I won't scrump them again in a hurry.

Who would steal Salad ?.........I remember a flatbed truck turning up outside Seaforth Docks, Liverpool years ago one Sunday morning.  Diversion signs out.......'Men at work'......lots of cobbles lifted and placed on flatbed truck. No drama really as it was a leisurely Sunday morning, with few people about and the Docks quiet as the grave .

A couple of hours passed and Diversion signs were removed and the Workmen left in their flatbed truck.....along with £50K of highly prized cobbles ................never to be seen or heard of again !
