fitting the clutch
« on: September 05, 2018, 06:25:15 PM »
I'm about to reassemble and install the new clutch. Any tips? I've seen mention of clutch tool on DS parts list, can it be done without it or is it worth the investment to save time and skinned knuckles? Also what does " sprag" the clutch mean? Or is there a historic link?Cheers🙂

Have you soaked the plates in oil for a couple of days? (friction plates that is) Make sure all static plates are totally rust free and fit these with the bevelled edge facing outwards.
