Take absolutely no notice of anything relating to our bikes on that website, it even states that the info is incorrect. For example, it says there are only 6 CB550 k3's left, well, I know of at least 20 personally, including my own and there were 25 for sale on Ebay a week ago. Never heard of an CB400 F2 K1 .
Edit...they get their info from what is printed on the V5's but, if you look at the CB400/ F1 and CB400/4 F2 models on that site, according to their data there aren't a huge amount of either, we all know that's rubbish as there are a hundreds if not thousands of them left in the UK. But, because the V5's usually only show CB400F and do not denote F1 or F2 these bikes are not in the data. The only ones recorded are the ones where for some reason at a later date the V5 has had F1 or F2 added on the log book. Therefore the CB400/F2 K1 was what someone wrote when re applying for a V5 for example, or an error or a later model bike.

...Hi Julie
While I was away I began getting sceptical too and even emailed the webmaster. Bad as fake news, next time I'll sniff around asite a bit more before I share a link!

To be honest, i didn't even know about that site until earlier this year. Someone contacted me about a bike that was being sold, it was a very, very rare Honda SOHC/4, only ever a handful produced, only 6 left in existence in the UK. Well, I thought, I better have a chat with the seller. When i spoke to the chap, it was a CB550 K3........two a penny !!! The really sad thing about the whole episode was that he had seen that info on that site and purchased the bike on the strength of the info and is now stuffed with a bike that he paid about 10 times more for it than it will ever be worth in a million years. Do i feel sorry for him, no, most definitely not, he thought he was onto a fast buck. It does say in their info the data cannot be trusted, especially on old bikes and it also proves that a majority of info on the tinternet, especially about these old Hondas, it at best wrong and at worst, total crap.

It was good that you did share the link as now at least it's documented here and hopefully will prevent others thinking they have a one off build, very rare Honda worth a Trillion pounds.
