That's DVLA for you, they do make mistakes especially on age related reg numbers for imported bikes. They gave him a 'G' reg on an early die cast once, wrong again !!!

Definitely confusing, Frank states first reg as 11/09/70 which makes it a J. (6 weeks outside H)
US site says K1 production began August 1970 at VIN 1044806 and this is 1058782.
Can get out of sync on imported bikes as they use the month of manufacture, but presume this is a UK bike. (But as pointed out has some incorrect and a number of repro parts)
My imported 500K0 is J reg. Earliest in the UK would be K I think.

Is that not the rear light on the 69-71 USA 750 then.

HAH....Motorcycles Unlimited.....why am I not surprised.

First time I went there they tried to sell me a GSX750 with a hole in the crankcase. 'bit of filler...and it's fine. It's not structural' ....... sure. And how did it happen exactly?

Admittedly that was a few years ago, but I was not impressed with their 'knowledge' and the more they went into 'classic' Japanse bikes, the less I trusted them. Not the worst by any stretch. That would be RAP Motorcycles in North London. Don't get me started on THEM.
