Mineral or semi synthetic. Definitely not fully synthetic, unless you want chronic clutch slip permanently.

Oil Thread Alert!
There are fully synthetic oils that are supposed to be suitable for wet clutches, but maybe not 1975 clutches. And no doubt £££. And wasted on 50 year old technology.
Oil to spec JASO MA. Anyone used it?

I have it in my 350F and have no problems and i drive pretty hard,  but my Z thou i run on semi as it has roller bearings in the crank and fully synthetic is known to make rollers skid damaging them.

I run my 460 yoshi on full synthetic oil with no problems, just have heavy clutch springs to handle the extra power.
